Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Trick Lets Players Spam Charged Cannonballs

A Legend of Zelda : Tear of the Kingdom player shared a clever trick that allows them to fire grunge shells that deal massive damage. Although Tears of the Kingdom has only been out for about a month, players have already discovered many tricks and glitches that make killing enemies easier. For example, a Kingdom of Tears player used a useful trick by wiping out all the surrounding skeletons with an arrow infused with dazzling fruit.

The latest installment in Nintendo’s iconic series, Tears of Kingdoms significantly enhances gameplay by introducing new game mechanics such as Link’s Ultrahand and Autobuild abilities. The game also allows players to deal with the dangers of Hyrule with the new Sage, a powerful companion who provides several combat abilities and special skills. Used at the right time, they can change the course of a battle.

A Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom fan who goes by the name Ichthus95 on Reddit discovered a useful trick for spamming charged shells with homing diagrams. The player posted a video showing them taking 80% of Black Hinox’s health in a matter of seconds, and stated that they could fire the shells as long as they were close enough to the enemy. This looks like an abuse of the working mechanic, with some players in the comments claiming that shells recharge time linearly with distance. To clarify, players can quickly fire shells when they are close to an enemy, and then use the homing map.

In support of this idea, the original poster stated that the charge time of the shells will decrease as they get closer to the enemy. These cannonballs are a clone of Unobo and can be fired in any direction. In Kingdom Tears, players can use the Fire Sage to summon the avatar of Yunobo in the vast kingdom of Hyrule. They can turn these avatars into charged projectiles and fire them forward to deal devastating damage. This special ability is obtained after completing the Yonobo main quest in Goron City, Tears of the Kingdom.

Due to the sandbox nature of Tears of Kingdoms, players can adopt a specific playstyle designed around their weapons. Later in the game, they will also encounter more terrifying enemies such as giant monsters and three-headed dragons. In addition to building a useful laser destroyer or guard stalker, players can use a variety of effective fusion combinations to defeat the most dangerous enemies in Tears of Kingdoms. For example, they can fuse their weapon with a flamethrower for massive damage, or combine their shield with a Puffshroom to create a cloud of dust.

The Legend of Zelda : Tear of the Kingdom is currently available for Nintendo Switch.
