World of Warcraft has revealed the reward players can earn from the Niffen Renown faction in patch 10.1, the Ember of Neltharion. These lovable Mole Men provide World of Warcraft players with some useful decorations and activities to keep them coming back for more.
Embers of Neltharion are coming to World of Warcraft. In addition to the massive new Dragonflight area called Zaralek Cavern, the Aberrus raid, and the continuation of the story, patch 10.1 also introduced the Niffen from the town of Loamm. Native to the Underground, these Midwestern molemen are the new prestige faction players can earn to unlock special rewards.
With Patch 10.1 now live on the World of Warcraft Public Test Realm, players can get a good look at what kind of rewards they can earn with the Loamm Niffen faction. By increasing their reputation with Loamm Niffen, players can unlock countless features. Some of these, like Shadowflame Crests and Flightstones, will help players prepare for raids and Mythic+ dungeons in Dragonflight, while others, like Snail Racing and Sniffseeking, will offer fun activities to pass their time.
Niffen Renown also offers a large cosmetic bonus. Players can earn new Dragonflight Dragonriding customizations, armor sets, and titles through this new faction. One-handed sword and ax models shaped like shovels and pickaxes respectively have also been found, allowing players to easily create archeology or mining themed combat transmogs.
The latest version of the Neltharion Embers PTR also adds mount and battle pet models that players can earn through the Niffin Prestige Track. The Morsel Sniffer is a Shalewing flying mount similar in appearance to the Sporebat from The Burning Crusade. While this mount cannot be used with dragonriders in Legion of the Dragon, its unique appearance still makes it a valuable item for mount collectors. Meanwhile, Paulie and Rango beetle pets are perfect for any pet fighting or insect lover.
These are just a few highlights from the Renown track of the Loamm Niffen faction in Embers of Neltharion. As players earn and gain Fame with the Niffen, they can unlock many of these rewards via Faction Quartermaster Harlowe Marl in exchange for Dragon Isles Supplies. With 20 prestige levels in the Neonifin Faction in Embers of Neltharion, players will have plenty of rewards to look forward to as they explore everything that Dragonflight patch 10.1 has to offer, releasing on May 2.
World of Warcraft is now available for PC.
