Today’s daily Wordle puzzles are another challenge that players try to tackle. Words are a bit weird today, and some players may be looking for a full spoiler for today’s puzzle, or some help with the rules of the game.
How to play Wordle
Wordle is a simple game, but difficult to master. In order to play, word puzzle lovers first learn the rules and a little bit of strategy to win Wordle. If all else fails, players can also scroll to the bottom of this article and get spoilers for today’s puzzle.
First, make sure you are using the correct version of Wordle. While there are many Wordle copycats out there, the original is hosted on the New York Times Games website and the New York Times Crossword App. Other versions of the answer differ from those listed here, and many clones have slightly different rules. Here’s how to play the NYT version.
Choose a good starting Wordle word. The word should have five distinct letters and at least two vowels. The word should also not be plural nouns ending in S, offensive words, or previous Wordle answers. Type the starting word into the website and press enter. The letters will change to one of three colors: green, gray or yellow. Green letters are correct. Gray letters are wrong. The yellow letters are correct, but in the wrong position within the word. Based on these clues, try another word. Press enter. The letters of the word also change color. Players need to keep trying new words and getting new clues until they run out of tries or they guess the answer correctly. There is a brand new puzzle every day at midnight local time. Each person has only one word puzzle per day. When the puzzle is completed, a menu will appear. This menu has a countdown timer to the next puzzle and a whole bunch of stats, including Wordle streak, total puzzles played, distribution of winning guesses, highest streak, and more. This menu can be accessed at any time by clicking on the graphic in the upper right corner of the screen.Answers to Wordle 663 April 13, 2023
