The Vampire Survivors’ Tides of the Foscari DLC adds 13 weapons to the game, with various ways to acquire and evolve them. While the in-game unlock menu provides some details on how to access these DLC weapons, it’s far from comprehensive. This may confuse some players on how to unlock and evolve the weapons in the Vampire Survivors’ Tides of the Foscari DLC, and this guide aims to clear up that confusion.
Note that a full look at the weapons in Vampire Survivors’ Tides in the Foscari DLC requires some major spoilers. Therefore, players are advised to follow this guide when unlocking new characters that are used to introduce the DLC’s weapons, and to avoid reading too much.
How to unlock and evolve SpellString, SpellStream and SpellStrike
The first step in obtaining these weapons is to use the Vampire Survivors’ map to find and open the coffin at Lake Foscari. These actions will unlock Eleanor, a DLC character that starts with SpellString, gains SpellStream at level 10, and SpellStrike at level 20. Players can allow other characters to use these weapons by fulfilling these requirements :
SpellString: Survive 15 minutes with Eleanor. SpellStream: Increases SpellStream to level 6. SpellStrike: Upgrades SpellStrike to level 6. In order to evolve a SpellString, SpellStream, and SpellStrike into a SpellStrom, players must create alliances by upgrading all three weapons to level 6 and then opening chests.
How to unlock and evolve Eskizzibur
Combined with SpellString, SpellStream and SpellStrike, players will unlock Maruto. The starting weapon for this Vampire Survivors character is the Eskizzibur, which fans can unlock for their other characters by surviving 15 minutes with Maruto. To evolve this weapon into a Legionnaire, the player must open the chest after attaining level 8 Eskizzibur and level 5 armor.
How to Unlock and Evolve Flash Arrow
Evolving Eskizzibur into Legionnaire unlocks Keitha, a DLC character that starts off as Flash Arrow. This Vampire Survivors weapon can be given to other characters by surviving with Keitha for 15 minutes, and evolve into a millionaire by gaining lvl 8 Flash Arrow, lvl 5 Bracers, and lvl 5 Clover.
How to Unlock and Evolve Prism Missiles
Unlocking the Prism Missile begins with breaking the seal of the lake in Vampire Survivor as Keitha. This action will allow fans to obtain Abyss Foscari, and they must use Maruto to break the Abyss Seal during this phase. Breaking the second seal will unlock Luminaire, and in fact, her starting weapon is the Prism Missile.
To unlock this weapon for other characters, the player must survive 15 minutes using Luminaire. And to evolve it into a lamp, you need a level 8 prism missile and a level 5 crown.
Shadow waiter unlock evolution method
Once fans break the Abyss Seal, they will be able to enter the new area of Abyss Foscari. Players should take Eleanor to these areas and break the Wanderer’s Seal to unlock Genevieve, a character whose starting weapon is the Shadow Servant. Fans can then unlock weapons for other characters by surviving 15 minutes with Genevieve, and they can evolve into Ophion by opening a chest with a level 8 Shadow Servant and level 5 skeleton O’Maniac.
How to Unlock the Party Popper
Unlocking the Party Popper requires the player to defeat a total of 6,000 Rotten Ghouls in Abyss Foscari and unlock the Rottin’ Ghoul character. Once complete, fans can purchase a Party Popper from the Vampire Survivors’ Merchant for 1,000 gold. This weapon has not evolved.
