A video posted by a Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 player shows how throwing knives are currently broken in the game. Players are using throwing knives in some Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 highlights, but in some cases, players are experiencing issues with the current state of the game.
Infinity Ward’s latest shooter has a steady stream of new content for players to enjoy. Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 brought classic weapons back to the game in the form of an intervention, bringing back many players who had long since abandoned the series. It’s unclear how long Infinity Ward plans to support Call of Duty 2023 after its release, but gamers will hopefully need some extra time to ensure that Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 gets as much new content as possible.
Redditor FMQ0 pointed out the Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 knife issue, showing a clip where the knife bounces off an enemy’s head. Slow motion replay, obviously the enemy should be killed, as to why it was not killed, it is not known. Some in the thread speculate it’s a geometry issue on the Shipment, though the knife doesn’t land anywhere near the barrel as seen in the clip. Ultimately, there’s no way to really know why, but it’s certainly not the player’s fault.
So far, the game seems to be having issues with some equipment items not working as expected. Some players also believe that Semtex is glitching in Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2, it also doesn’t kill players, it’s most likely a glitch. It’s not even clear how long this throwing knife glitch has been in the game. As of now, it’s unknown how much Infinity Ward is aware of these issues, but the developer hasn’t acknowledged or fixed any of them so far.
So far, the game has been plagued by a number of strange glitches that have confused the community. Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2’s Season 3 Battle Pass UI was stretched to launch, and while the bug was quickly fixed, players were confused about how it happened in the first place. While players love the game, there’s definitely a feeling that Infinity Ward should fix what’s currently in the game before adding more that could end up being broken as well.
Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 is out now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
