The Sims 4: Paranormal Stuff Pack brings back a classic Sims character named Bonehilda. Bonehilda is a skeletal maid with a flirtatious personality who can be summoned to help with chores and even provide companionship. In the past, players could purchase a special coffin to place Bonehilda on their turf, but in The Sims 4, she’s only available through a more temporary method.
Sims can become psychics and paranormal investigators with the Paranormal Stuff DLC, increasing their powers as their connection to the spirit world strengthens. In no time, they’ll be able to communicate clearly with the dead and unlock special abilities, including iconic Sims’ summoning rituals. So, this guide explains how to summon and befriend Bonehilda in The Sims 4.
Increase intermediate skills
The key to summoning Bonehilda is the medium skill and the altar. The Sance table can be found in build/buy mode, along with a crystal ball that can be placed in the center for a more realistic experience. The Medium skill is a secondary skill, so players only need to reach five levels to maximize it. If they want to summon Bonehilda, they must be at least level three. Using the altar in any way increases mid-skill, but it does have some interesting results.
Interacting with the Sance Table will almost always encourage the ghost to settle down wherever Sims use it. Unfortunately, this often results in them becoming scared or terrified, making it difficult for Sims to focus on doing anything else other than running around or trying to hide under the covers. Players can purchase the Brave Trait from the Rewards Shop for 8,000 Satisfaction Points to prevent them from being overwhelmed by fear while learning a medium skill.
How to Summon Bone Hilda
Sims must be at rank three in the Intermediate skill to summon Bonehilda. When Sims use the seance table, if their mid-level skill is high enough, the “Summon Bone Hilda” option will appear. Sims will perform a brief summoning ritual, and she will appear in the home as an NPC. Bonehilda will hang around, take care of some chores, repair broken items, and gift Sims with random food. Bonehilda will also face mischievous ghosts if Sims are in a haunted house.
Sims can let her hang out after summoning her, but eventually she will disappear and they will have to re-summon her. Although Bonehilda is a supernatural Sim, Sims can befriend her and even enter into a romantic relationship. Any interaction with the altar increases the mid-level skill. Whenever Sims reach level five, they can form a seance circle anywhere in the world, summon her there and perform activities together. Bonehilda is a fun Sim who loves to flirt with others, so players can enjoy getting to know her.
