Capcom has released a new video showing the Outfit 2 versions of all Street Fighter VI characters. Some of these outfits include brand new designs for newcomers, while others are nostalgic nostalgia for games like Street Fighter 2, Street Fighter 3 – 3rd Strike, and more.
Street Fighter VI is the highly anticipated next entry in Capcom’s fighting game series, bringing a variety of new mechanics and introducing customization features that allow players to create avatars to fight against other fighters. The game takes a sleeker approach than other entries in the series, and is appreciated every time the player hits a ball or uses its unique drive system. This style is also present in the game’s cosmetics, both new and returning.
Capcom released a new trailer showing the Outfit 2 designs for each of the 18 fighters that appeared in the Street Fighter 6 roster. Some designs include outfits that reflect the fighter’s appearance in other Street Fighter entries. Ryu and Ken will be featured in Street Fighter 3 – 3rd Strike; Chun-Li, Blanka, E. Honda, Zangief and Dhalsim bring their Street Fighter 2 designs; Dee Jay and Cammy appear like they did in Super Street Overlord 2 debuted; and Juri will be the most recent return, using the gear she brought to Street Fighter 5.
That’s not all. New additions to Street Fighter 6 will also be bringing their unique looks to the Outfit 2 lineup. Some of the highlights include Luke’s prequel comic look, JP’s sleek Playboy outfit, Manon’s elegant outfit, and Jamie’s new sporty look. Each costume can be unlocked by playing Street Fighter VI’s World Tour mode. Alternatively, if players want to get their favorite Outfit 2 to their mains faster, these outfits can be purchased with Fighter Coins.
Street Fighter VI has shown great potential since its release. Street Fighter 6 received stellar reviews and more were eager to jump in at launch, which only raised the bar for games like Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, Mortal Kombat 1, and Tekken 8.
Street Fighter VI will be released on June 2, 2022 for PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
