Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will launch with a hugely popular game mode that will allow fans to share views of a galaxy far, far away with their friends. The pulse-pounding sequel to 2019’s hit Star Wars Jedi : The Fallen Order finally hits theaters this week. Players will once again take control of Cal Kestis, a former Jedi Padawan who survived the infamous Order 66 and ultimately rekindles his connection to the Force to stand against the fearsome Empire and its mighty Inquisitors.
All of Cal’s skills and abilities in the Fallen Order will be available from the start of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and players will be able to play Heroes Reunited with Friends and from the Empire. Not all of the announced features for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor have fans excited though, as it’s been confirmed that the physical release of the game will still require a significant download, while the PC version will include DRM in the form of the controversial Denuvo anti-cheat software .
Luckily, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has just confirmed another new feature, and fans will love the more: Photo Mode. A recent post on EA’s official Star Wars Twitter account confirmed that the popular photography mode will be included in the game at launch, and the linked thread features Respawn’s development team filming it during their own Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Several stunning screenshots to beat the level.
Photo mode has become very popular over the past few years, allowing gamers to create and share impressive images from their favorite games using a freely moving camera and various filters. Virtual photographers have even used photo mode in games like Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Red Dead Redemption 2 to spot weird bugs and details, and recreate posters and covers from their favorite movies or video games.
Respawn added a photo mode after the release of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and it proved good enough to be included in the upcoming Jedi: Survivor from day one.
