Some Gamers May Already Have Early Copies of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Some images circulating online suggest that early copies of The Legend of Zelda : Kingdom Tears have been exported, so fans should be wary of leaks. The Legend of Zelda : Tears of the Kingdom is finally approaching its May 12th release date, so hype for the game is at an all-time high.

Nintendo has been keeping fans interested in The Legend of Zelda : Kingdom Tears with a gameplay video showing off some of Link’s new abilities in the game. One of the most interesting new abilities Link has in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom lets him fuse items together to create brand new weapons. Not only should this give Tear of Zelda : players more options when it comes to combat, but it could also be a unique way for the developers to address some of the fans’ concerns about The Legend of Zelda : Breath of Breath’s weapon durability complains about wilderness.

It seems that some gamers may try out the new gameplay features of The Legend of Zelda : Kingdom Tears before launch. There are some images online that appear to show an early copy of The Legend of Zelda : Kingdom Tears on the Nintendo Switch console. Other images purport to show Zelda:’s physical box of Tears of the Kingdom. It’s entirely possible that these images were faked or doctored in some way, but it’s better to be safe than sorry. Between now and the game’s May 12th release date, Zelda fans who don’t want to be spoiled by Tears of the Kingdom should take extra care when browsing social media.

It’s not uncommon for early physical copies of games to go into circulation ahead of their release date, but with The Legend of Zelda : Kingdom Tears’ release date still three weeks away, it seems unlikely that these early copies will be legitimate. Even so, it might be a good idea to avoid Twitter and other social media platforms just to be on the safe side.

The Zelda franchise isn’t as story-focused as other video game franchises, but it’s still disappointing for fans to see plot details spoiled before the game’s release. Zelda fans are eager to unravel many of The Legend of Zelda : Kingdom Tears’ mysteries, so hopefully they’ll keep it spoiler-free between now and release, leaving them to discover everything for themselves.
