For many Sims 4 players, one of the first things they do after starting a family and moving into town is to get a job and make sure they can pay their bills on the weekends.
Getting to know co-workers and develop a good relationship with them was important in earlier entries in the series, but that’s not the case in The Sims 4. In most cases, players will not go out of their way to meet colleagues, but it is possible. In this guide, gamers will find out how to find co-workers and improve their relationship with them.
The importance of colleagues
In The Sims 4, there are several situations where players will want to find their co-workers. For example, in a social media career, if a Sim chooses to work from home, one of their tasks may be to socialize with co-workers, which can be difficult if the Sim has not met them.

Whether players want to meet their colleagues to improve their careers, or just for any personal storylines they may be developing, there are several ways to do so.
Sims can walk around and ask various Sims about their careers by selecting them, introducing Sims, and then selecting the Ask About Career option in the Small Talk menu in the Friendly tab. This will definitely take some time and can be quite tedious. Sims in Homes created by Team Sims are assigned specific occupations, but there are also random townspeople who will have certain occupations. The best way to meet co-workers is after they’ve left work, simply by selecting the “socialize with co-workers” option on the Sim’s icon. Unfortunately, this interaction will reduce their job performance, but they will start meeting with colleagues from time to time. This also applies to children and teens who want to meet their classmates while they are at school.
Alternatively, players with the Get Together expansion pack can create clubs and add specific career choices upon request. This is a great way to sift through other Sims when looking for co-workers.
To view a Sim’s current list of known classmates and colleagues, the player must open the Relationships panel and select the tab with the briefcase symbol. Then they can call them and ask them to hang out anytime.
