There are many ways to make money in The Sims 4; Sims can use their skills, try painting at an easel, fish for a living at the local pond; they can be freelance, they can do odd jobs, or they can Try to build their own business in their lifetime.
This guide will help players understand how they can get promoted in The Sims 4. While each class is different in its own way, there are some guidelines players can follow to get promoted more easily.
How to Get a Promotion or Raise
Career advancement works the same way whether a Sim is part-time or full-time. The only difference is that there are ten career levels for full-time jobs, but only three for part-time jobs.
If Sims do well in school or college, their careers will be several levels ahead. Career levels can be checked in the job menu by hovering over the career icon.
In order to receive a promotion or raise after reaching level 10, Sims must reach the right end of the performance bar, and they must also complete all promotion tasks. Once these requirements are met, the gray check mark will turn gold and the SIM will be upgraded before the end of the working day.
If the player has Growing Together, if Sims have a workplace competitor, they will not be eligible for promotion until the issue is resolved.
Job performance and job plot
In The Sims 4, job performance changes based on what Sims are doing at work. Players can make Sims behave better with :
Take care of all their needs before they go to work; complete Dailies; and select “Work Hard” on your Sim’s icon after they go to work. Working hard will increase a Sim’s work performance, but greatly reduce their need for fun. This will cause the Sim to become stressed, which can lead to burnout if the player has grown up together.
Occasionally, strange situations may arise on the job, and a narrative plot will appear on-screen, allowing players to choose how their Sim should respond to certain events. Unfortunately, there are no right or wrong answers. It can go either way regardless of what the player thinks is the best choice, since the outcome is random. Eventually, Sims will either lose or gain performance.
The Sims 4 is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
