Secret Message in Marvel’s Spider-Man Shows Just How Detailed the Game is

A secret message from the remake of Marvel’s Spider-Man has been discovered, revealing yet again the details of designing its world. Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is an updated version of the original game from 2018, featuring a number of visual improvements in addition to faster loading times.

Since its release on PS4 and later on PS5 and PC, Marvel’s Spider-Man fans have pointed out a plethora of small details that exist in the world. For example, a Marvel Spider-Man player shared neat details about The Copycat’s in-game combat challenges, confirming that gamers can see The Copycat watching from the sidelines as they attempt to complete the side content. Now, another fan has pointed out a neat detail involving a secret message in Marvel’s Spider-Man remake.

A Reddit user named karmannoof has shared several images of the Marvel Spider-Man remake that include this detail, showing an interesting warning message appearing in the game. The second image shows a close-up of the message as it repeatedly tells players not to put their hands in the machine while it’s on. The message suggested that gamers should spend their time fighting crime and shooting spider webs in Marvel’s Spider-Man.

Many users in the marvel's spider man funny message comments section praised developer Insomniac Games for adding this detail, with one stating that the development studio never disappoints them. One Marvel Spider-Man fan jokingly asked a Reddit poster to stick their hand into the machine for scientific research, while another player mentioned that the information can also be found in the in-game mixer. In one of the comments, karmannoof confirmed that they’re doing a fourth run through Marvel’s Spider-Man, and that they’ve spent a lot of time exploring the world.

Insomniac Games released a standalone expansion pack for the PS5 in the form of Marvel’s Spider-Man : Miles Morales, and both games are now available on PC. A sequel called Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is slated for release on PS5 later this year, but aside from an initial trailer for 2021, Sony hasn’t revealed anything about the game.

Sony hasn’t held a PlayStation Showcase event since then, but new rumors suggest that a PlayStation Showcase is coming. Major PlayStation first-party titles are usually the highlight of such events, and fans can expect more news about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 whenever Sony decides to host the next one.

Marvel’s Spider-Man is out now on PC, PS4 and PS5.
