During the first phase of the fight, reach the top floor and aim for Mendez’s head. The head has the highest damage multiplier and kills bosses quickly. Once Mendez loses enough health, he falls to the ground. Get close to the boss and take the knife to enter the second stage.
Mutation #2
In the second stage, the main strategy is to shoot when the boss has a red barrel in his hand. Alternatively, use some powerful ranged weapons to deal damage and shoot bosses straight in the head. When the boss is down for the second time, approach him again and finally take down the boss with the knife.
Mendez will perform a special fire attack, throwing burning logs. Still, these attacks are easily avoidable. The player just needs to move right or left when the throwing animation starts dodging the blocks.
