Siphon Filter: Dark Mirror joining PlayStation Plus Premium in March 2023 has received an update adding a very useful feature. Members of PS Plus’ Extra and Premium tiers get access to new games every month, while Premium subscribers get a few extra perks.
PS Plus Premium members can download and play select PS1, PS2 and PSP games on top of the game catalog available to Extra subscribers. In addition, they can get limited-time game trials of certain games, allowing subscribers to try games such as “God of War, Ragnarok”, “Sonic Frontier” and “Tactical Ogre: Reborn” for a certain period of time. Now, Sony has released a new update for the PSP game Siphon Filter: Dark Mirror, adding an important game feature.
As reported by Push Square, the new Siphon Filter: Dark Mirror update allows fans to use the correct analog stick on the controller for aiming. The Siphon Filter: Dark Mirror originally launched on the PSP in 2006, and unlike newer handheld gaming systems, the PSP didn’t come with a proper analog stick. This means that Siphon Filter: Dark Mirror was designed with this caveat in mind, which may embarrass some PS5 and PS4 owners interested in playing the game.
With the new update, players can use the correct analog stick to aim the siphon filter : dark mirror, which may improve the game experience for some players. However, fans should note that Siphon Filter: Dark Mirror is currently over 15 years old, so even with this new addition, its gameplay may not be as smooth as modern games.
PS Plus Premium members get the Siphon Filter: Dark Mirror for free, but gamers can also buy it from the PlayStation Store for $9.99. In addition to Dark Mirror, PS Plus Premium members will also have access to Ridge Racer Type 4 and Ape Academy 2 in March 2023. Premium subscribers also get all the games that go into the Extra tier, and Sony has added notable titles like Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Immortal Fenix Rising, Neo: Doomsday With You and March Tchia.
Sony hasn’t revealed which games will be coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium in April 2023, but subscribers to all three tiers can now get monthly games for free. All PlayStation Plus members can now play Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Meet Your Maker, and Tails of Iron as part of their subscription.
