PS Plus is Losing 4 More Games Soon

PlayStation Plus Premium members will soon lose access to four more games, as LEGO Harry Potter, Injustice 2, and Batman : Return to Arkham are leaving the service. Sony updates the catalog of games available to PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers monthly, giving players regular access to new titles.

Some games left PS Plus Extra and Premium at about the same time, and unlike the monthly free games offered to all tiers, users can no longer play these games once they leave the catalog. It was recently confirmed that PS Plus Extra and Premium will soon lose access to 32 games, including Metro 2033 Redux, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Shenmue 3, and Marvel’s Spider-Man. Now, it appears four more games will be leaving the catalog.

As revealed by PlayStation Game Size, remasters of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, Injustice 2, and the LEGO Harry Potter Collection will soon be leaving the higher tiers of PS Plus. Of this list, only Injustice 2 is on PS Plus Extra, while the other games are part of the Classic Games catalog and only available to subscribers of the premium tier. While the LEGO Harry Potter Collection also includes two games called LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7, both are bundled in one version on PS4.

PS Plus games coming soon

This brings the total number of games in the higher PS Plus tiers to a staggering 36, and it will be interesting to see more games added to this list. Only a handful of games leave PS Plus Extra and Premium each month, and that number is usually smaller than the list of games joining the service. Assuming all of these games are pulled in May, this would mark a significant reduction in the total number of titles available to subscribers.

Sony has yet to reveal which games will be coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium in May 2023, but members will now be able to play all titles added in April 2023. PS Plus Extra subscribers can try out Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Doom Eternal, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, Riders Republic and more, while premium users get access to Doom, Doom 2 and Dishonored: Definitive Edition and more.
