Overwatch 2 Play Reveals Incredible Reinhardt Combo With Lifeweaver

In a recent Overwatch 2 game, a Reinhardt player showed just how effective coordination with Lifeweaver can be. Gamers have been making memorable plays in Overwatch 2 since the game launched into Early Access last October, and the introduction of Lifeweaver opens the door to even more creative combo opportunities between heroes.

Overwatch 2 recently kicked off its fourth season, introducing a lot of new content to the game, such as new maps and a battle pass. One of the most notable additions, however, is Overwatch 2’s newest support hero, Lifeweaver. The character has gained attention for her interesting movement setup, including the ability to reposition teammates via petal platforms and the Grasp of Life ability. Recently, a player revealed how well it works with the new Legend in battle.

On Reddit, a user named WanderingHanzo shared clips from a recent Overwatch 2 game in which they pull off an incredible feat as Reinhardt with the help of the friendly Lifeweaver. Contest. The highlight occurs on the Antarctic Peninsula map when the Reinhardt player is standing on Objective A. While they seem to plan to defend at this point, their Lifeweaver allies have other ideas.

Shortly after the clip begins, the Weaver can be seen raising the petal platform into the air, close to the enemy team. Once they have moved the object to the maximum height, the support player jumps off and uses Life Grasp on Reinhardt. This launches the tank player into the air, capturing momentum that propels them towards the opposing team. Reinhardt took advantage of this and caught his opponent off guard with a Weaver combo. Before the opponent has time to react, the tank player lands and activates Earthshatter. Using the element of surprise added by Lifeweaver, they managed to achieve an impressive knockout rate.

Not surprisingly, this latest highlight of WanderingHanzo has caught the attention of many members of the Overwatch 2 community on Reddit. In fact, the post garnered over 2.7K upvotes in less than a day. While most praised players for their impressive gameplay, others hoped that Lifeweaver’s abilities wouldn’t be nerfed in future patches so players could keep experimenting with these types of highlights.

It’s worth pointing out that not every Lifeweaver interaction looks like the one seen in the clip uploaded by WanderingHanzo. Other clips shared showed Fateweaver also using his Life Grip ability to disrupt teammates. Regardless, it looks like more drama featuring the supporting cast will hit the web in the days to come.

Overwatch 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
