Fans are no doubt eagerly awaiting the release of The Legend of Zelda : Kingdom Tears. The release of the Breath of the Wild sequel is just a month away, and fans of the series are invited to savor every bit of information Nintendo has to offer. Luckily for those excited, more Tears of Kingdoms is coming soon.
So far, Nintendo has released a pair of official trailers for Tear of Kingdoms, as well as a roughly 10-minute gameplay demo by series producer Eiji Aonuma. The third and final official trailer for the Switch sequel will soon wow fans, the publisher revealed today.
Nintendo will reveal the final pre-release trailer in a livestream event that will air on its YouTube channel on April 13 at 10:00AM ET and tomorrow at 7:00AM PT. The company did not elaborate on its exact expectations for the disclosure. However, they did note that the new Tears of Kingdoms trailer is around three minutes long, which is longer than both the first and second trailers.
When’s the next The Legend of Zelda: Tears of Kingdoms trailer?
Thursday, April 13 at 7:00 AM PT, 10:00 AM ET. A second trailer for the game was released just a few months ago, on February 8th. Despite the two trailers and ten minutes of gameplay, fans still don’t know much about the story details of Kingdom Tears, leading many fans to speculate that Nintendo will finally delve into some of the game’s overall narrative in tomorrow’s footage.
As we all know, Ganondorf appears to be coming back to life in some form, as teased in the first trailer that debuted at E3 2019. Princess Zelda also appears to be in danger and may need rescue. Link’s arm appears to have been damaged or modified, which led him to detail his new abilities during Aonuma’s recent gameplay demo. In the same demo, defeated enemies would drop an item called the Zonai Charge, suggesting that this mysterious tribe, often mentioned in Breath of the Wild but never actually appearing, plays a larger role.
Despite not going live for another month, the follow-up to one of the highest-rated games of all time has already garnered praise. “Tears of the Kingdom” was nominated and won the Most Anticipated Game and the Most Anticipated Game in the 2022 Golden Joystick Awards and The Game Awards respectively. Many expect the game’s future to be nominated for Game of the Year 2023.
The Legend of Zelda : Tears of the Kingdom launches on Nintendo Switch on May 12.
