Nike Teases New Fortnite Collaboration Event

Nike has announced that it will soon be collaborating with Fortnite, and fans are excited to learn more about the collaboration. Fortnite has grown exponentially over the past few years, and almost everyone instantly recognizes the name. Epic Games has managed to make Fortnite fantastic with an ever-bigger and larger franchise and company.

With the start of the recent Fortnite WILDS season, another unexpected partnership was revealed. Fortnite has a huge collaboration with Transformers, bringing Optimus Prime to the Chapter 4 Season 3 Battle Pass as a level 100 skin. This isn’t the first time the last skin for the Battle Pass has been collaborative. It’s always important that this happens, as level 100 skins tend to be the most popular skins in the battle pass.

Nike appears to be the next Fortnite collaboration, according to a tweet posted on the official Nike account. Fans are still unsure of what this might mean, as little has been revealed other than what appears in the short video. Unfortunately, the trailer doesn’t reveal much, but it does mention that Unreal Engine is being used for the event, so this could very well be a Nike-themed creative island. The event could be like the Fortnite NBA Creative Hub Challenge and NBA All-Star Hub Challenge, but that’s just speculation at this point. The tweet says the Ultimate Sneakerhunt will take place on June 20th, which backs up that idea. It’s also a great way to promote Unreal Editor for the Fortnite program.

It’s unclear if players will be able to earn any Nike Fortnite cosmetics, but it’s not uncommon for battle royale players to partner with the company and simply reward them with XP for completing quests. Even if there’s no major cosmetic item in the item shop, players may at least have the chance to get an exclusive Nike-themed emote or spray.

The Fortnite Nike event kicks off on Tuesday, the same day the v25.10 update goes live. This is the first official update since Chapter 4 Season 3 began, so it’s likely to have quite a bit of content. Blaster grenades will be added to Fortnite in this update due to player feedback in an attempt to address the lack of mobility this season. We don’t know much about what the update will bring, but two new additions have been confirmed.

Fortnite is available for Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
