More Alleged Abuse Victims Come Forward Following Jonathan Majors' Arrest

Ant-Man and Wasp: Quantumania star Jonathan Majors’ legal troubles could get worse as more victims of alleged abuse come forward with their stories about what Majors did to them.

After Majors was arrested for domestic violence on March 23, more victims came forward to detail the abuse they allegedly suffered at the hands of Majors. While these are all technically related to the Majors’ legal issues, they could have implications for the Ant-Man and Wasp: Quantumania star’s future with Marvel Studios.

A Variety report detailed that the alleged victim is not only coming forward, but is also cooperating with the district attorney. Multiple alleged victims of Majors’ abuse have come forward and cooperated with the Manhattan District Attorney’s office following Majors’ arrest in March, sources familiar with the matter told Variety. The prospect of more women would mark a dramatic turn in the case after Majors’ publicist and management company severed ties with the embattled actor earlier this week. An industry source said that Marvel Studios will wait until all the details are out before deciding what happens next. “I think the truth is everyone is waiting to see what Marvel will do,” the source said. “It doesn’t mean everyone is going to do the same thing, but that’s what people expect.”

jonathan majors creed Cropped Majors already lost his talent agency and PR agency earlier this week, which could be a strong sign that it’s all heading towards his career. These legal issues came not long after Majors starred in blockbusters like Ant-Man and The Wasp : Quantum Fever and Tenet III, which greatly boosted Majors’ star power. Majors is expected to be Marvel Studios’ next big villain, much like Kang in the MCU, but that could be in jeopardy.

If the stories of these victims turn out to be true, it goes without saying that Majors could lose every movie and TV show he has in store. However, he should also take some time for his actions, although this will depend on the severity of his alleged abuse. He’s innocent until proven guilty, but it’s not a promising sign when multiple victims come forward against someone and those associated with that person disown him shortly thereafter.

It’s rare to see an actor gain and lose so much notoriety in such a short period of time. After the success of films like Creed 3, all signs point to Majors being the next big thing in Hollywood, only because he risks losing everything in one fell swoop. Professionals might not go to jail for it, but in this day and age, getting arrested for domestic violence and having more victims come forward doesn’t do a lot for one’s acting career. Majors is entitled to defend his case, but there is a big hole to dig.
