Meet Your Maker: How to Raid a Friend's Outpost

While various outposts can be raided via Meet Your Maker’s raid maps, some players will no doubt be interested in targeting specific levels created by their friends. Fortunately, it’s a fairly simple thing to do, though the process isn’t explicitly spelled out in the game. As such, some players may be a little confused about how to raid a friend’s outpost in Meet Your Maker, and this guide is meant to clear that up.

Meet Your Creator: How to Raid Friends

To do this, builders should visit their Vault Command Center, go to their outpost via the “Build” tab, open the pause menu, and select “Social” under the “Activate” tab. Once that’s done, builders have done their job and they’re free to leave the Outpost in Meet Your Maker.

At this point, raiders should interact with their Vault Command Center and press the “social raid” input indicated at the bottom of the raid map. This will lead raiders to a new menu where they can search for levels by player or outpost name, and they can actually find their friend’s base by performing the appropriate search. However, Meet Your Maker players do need to be careful when performing these types of searches, as capitalization does matter.

This means players won’t get any materials and Meet Your Maker progression from social status levels, and they should make sure to return to their outpost and switch them back to active when their friends are done. While this might be a bit of a hassle, it’s only minor since fans can toggle their Outpost status at will at any time.

It’s also worth mentioning that players won’t receive any rewards for completing the outpost through the social raid portion, presumably to minimize the creation of Meet Your Maker levels that are only used to farm GenMats, Parts, and Synthite. The lack of rewards shouldn’t put players off raiding a friend’s base, though, because it’s still fun. Plus, when friends want to continue their progress, they can always team up and raid active outposts together.

Meet Your Maker is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
