Marvel’s Spider-Man fans may have managed to defeat Scorpion in the weirdest way possible. Gamers will encounter plenty of exciting boss battles while playing Marvel’s Spider-Man, some of which challenge players to fight two enemies at once.
Fighting Rhino and Scorpion is like a fight in Marvel’s Spider-Man, as users are encouraged to make the most of the tools at their disposal to overcome this challenge. Fans will also be battling Vulture and Electro simultaneously, encounters that underscore the cinematic nature of its combat system. Now, one player managed to defeat Scorpion in odd fashion, as they knocked Scorpion into a nearby body of water.
A Reddit user named TablePrinterDoor shared a photo of Marvel’s Spider-Man, confirming that they managed to knock Scorpion into the water, taking him out of the fight prematurely. The player mentioned that Marvel’s Spider-Man went on as usual after beating Rhino, and then asked other fans if they planned to beat Scorpion that way. TablePrinterDoor confirmed that the post-battle cutscene plays as usual, and it looks like Scorpion teleports out of the water at the end of the fight.
TablePrinterDoor claims to have used an aerial combo to fly Scorpion out of the area, then claims they are playing the PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man. It looks like TablePrinterDoor may have encountered a glitch in Marvel’s Spider-Man, as many users said they were very lucky. Another player claims to have beaten Scorpion in the same way, while some other fans have suggested that it is possible for Rhino to run over Scorpion as well.
Many in the comments noted why scorpions can’t swim, and made humorous references to the level of realism in Marvel’s Spider-Man. One fan also shared a great trick for defeating Scorpion, saying that players can have Rhino hit him with a boulder, instantly taking him out of combat. Overall, users seem to agree that TablePrinterDoor had a lucky glitch in Marvel’s Spider-Man, so they had one less enemy to worry about during this boss fight.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is coming to PlayStation 5 later this year, and it’ll likely feature several boss battles with multiple enemies, just like the original game. Kraven and Venom appear to be the main villains of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, but it will be interesting to see how Insomniac Games incorporates the side villains into the story.
Marvel’s Spider-Man is out now on PC, PS4 and PS5.
