Honkai: Star Rail version 1.2 will fix a major bug that affected players’ progress in the “Everwinter City Museum Ledger of Curiosities” event starting with version 1.1. The 1.2 update will introduce new characters and events to Honkai : Star Trail this summer, and players can also get some compensation once the new update goes live.
Honkai: Star Rail is one of HoYoverse’s most popular games to date, with over 20 million players worldwide. Following the success of Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail brings the power of the elements and unique characters into a space fantasy setting with turn-based gameplay. While Honkai : Star Rail is a turn-based RPG, the game will receive numerous post-launch updates that will continue the main story while introducing new characters and events.
The official Twitter account of Honkai : Star Trails posted a notice about a bug that affected players’ progress in the Treasures of Everwinter Museum event, confirming that the bug will be fixed in version 1.2. This particular bug may affect players who have reached the “Glory of the Ages” stage, resulting in some players being unable to progress through the limited-time quest. The event of the Ledger of Wonders in the Museum of Eternal Winter City has been extended to August 6th. Players of Honkai : Star Trail will have more time to complete time-limited tasks and successfully redeem rewards. HoYoverse formally apologizes for the inconvenience caused by this error and will compensate players who have reached Pathfinder Level 21 and completed the quest “Jarilo-VI – The Silent Galaxy”. After the Honkai : Star Trail 1.2 maintenance ends next month, players will receive 120 Star Jade as compensation.
The HoYoverse official notice confirmed that the maintenance of version 1.2 of Honkai : Star Trail will be carried out on July 19, and the downtime will be about 5 hours. After the maintenance is over, the event bug will be fixed. Players of Honkai : Star Trail can redeem compensation through the in-game mail function. This mail feature is unlocked after completing the “A Moment of Peace” story mission.
The event postponement should come as a relief to Honkai : Star Trail players who were unable to progress and redeem rewards earlier this month. Additionally, the extension provides a window for new players who have not yet started the Honkai: Star Rail and Everwinter City Museum Ledger of Curiosities campaign.
More details about the 1.2 version of Honkai : Star Trail have not been disclosed, but HoYoverse is expected to hold a special live broadcast in the near future. The developers will share information on what’s coming in the next Honkai: Star Rail update, so fans may want to keep an eye on HoYoverse’s official channel for more announcements.
Honkai: Star Rail is now available for Android, iOS and PC. The PlayStation 5 version will be released in the fourth quarter of 2023.
