A Genshin Impact player shared an adorable way to get valuable chests in the Inazuma region. Aside from unique character designs, exploration is probably one of the game’s main assets, especially considering Teyvat’s world continues to expand with each new update.
While Genshin Impact has included a ton of new content over the past few months, including a new TCG mode, exploring the world and finding treasure chests is still one of the main activities for most of the player base. Most chests can be found in random locations in the world, but some of them require the player to solve various types of puzzles.
Reddit user Miguelplayz22 shared a very helpful screenshot revealing the unusual way to find the precious chest with the help of a dog named Toratarou, who is kept in a cage on Golden Man Island. After defeating the common Genshin Impact enemy Nobushi guarding the cage, players can spend 1 Metal Key from their inventory to free Toratarou, which will unlock the “Who Let the Dogs Out” achievement. Miguelplayz22 has revealed that if players follow the dog to the northern part of the island, they will encounter a half-buried treasure chest that can be opened.
If you follow Toratatou long enough, she’ll lead you to u/Miguelplayz22’s treasure chest on Jinren Island in Genshin_Impact. Valuable chests usually include Primogems, Adventure XP, and lots of Mora. Players can use these Primogems to make wishes on the character Kamisato Ayaka shown in the post. She is part of the current Two Flags, which includes another 5-star character, Cryo polearm user Shenhe. Ayaka is probably the strongest Genshin Impact DPS when it comes to applying elemental damage.
Players looking to take her damage numbers to the next level should also try to get the Mistsplitter Reforged sword on the current weapons banner. The weapon imparts a number of valuable base stats, and its passive increases the wielder’s potential to deal elemental damage. It’s also one of the most versatile weapons in the game, as it can be wielded by nearly any sword character in the roster.
Shenhe is a Cryo support character that synergizes well with Ayaka, as her kit relies on Cryo damage in her team. This duo works best when placed in a Permafreeze team combo built around elemental reaction freeze. It can be triggered by combining Cryo and Hydro, which means players need to have a powerful off-field Hydro applicator like Mona on their team.
Genshin Impact is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4 and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
