A Genshin Impact artist has shared a pair of fan-made sneakers inspired by Cryo user Kamisato Ayaka. As a member of the Kamisato family, Ayaka played an important role in Lightning’s famous Yatsushiro committee. This good-natured character puts service to the people of Electronic Nation above all else.
That’s why she earned the nickname Shirasagi Himegimi, which means “Princess White Heron”. Having been rumored since the game’s release in 2020, Ayaka finally joined the playable roster for version 2.0 of Genshin Impact, her story mission introducing the traveler to the then-new region of Lightning.
Reddit user HuruTheBear shared several images showing off a gorgeous pair of Kamisato Ayaka-inspired sneakers. The sneakers feature the Cryo user’s signature dark and light blue theme, as well as the abstract pattern on her dress. Fans seem to love the custom design, as the post garnered over 5k upvotes on the game’s official subreddit. Sneaker creator HuruTheBear is known in the community for creating similar types of Genshin Impact projects that always get a lot of attention. Many reviews say the design perfectly depicts Ayaka’s kind and calm nature.
A custom pair of sneakers modeled after Ayaka! By u/HuruTheBear in Genshin_Impact Players can get Kamisato Ayaka by pulling the current double banner which also features another Cryo user named Shenhe. Despite her release in 2021, Ayaka is still considered an S-tier DPS character in Genshin Impact, and she can deal a lot of damage if placed in the right team mix. Her kit revolves around elemental damage, which means players need to be careful when building the right team around her.
Free-to-play players looking to get her first horoscope best hope for her signature weapon, the Mistsplitter Reforged sword, which is part of the ongoing Banner of Arms. In addition to the stacked base stats, the sword’s passive effect boosts Ayaka’s potential to deal elemental damage.
Ayaka has great synergy with Shenhe, meaning Travelers who want to build a strong base for their team can use both characters at the same time. Shenhe’s entire suite revolves around having as many Cryo users on her team as possible. Having two of them in the same group triggers the Cryo Resonance effect, which increases the critical strike chance of targets affected by Cryo damage or Elemental Reaction Frozen by 15%.
Genshin Impact is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4 and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
