Genshin Impact Details New Genius Invokation TCG Cards for Version 3.6

HoYoverse has revealed new details about several Genius Invokation TCG cards launching with Genshin Impact version 3.6 on April 12. Once version 3.6 is available, Genshin Impact players will be able to access Cat Tails and challenge certain characters to earn these new Genius Invokation TCG cards.

While taking a break from Teyvat’s quest, Genshin Impact players can test their combat and elemental knowledge by playing the Genius Invokation TCG mini-game. In Genius Invokation TCG, players can duel NPCs or each other using cards depicting favorite characters from the playable roster. Support and equipment cards enhance a player’s Genius Invokation TCG deck, allowing them to use special abilities and deal extra damage in duels. In March, a 3.6 leak revealed that multiple fan-favorite characters from Inazuma and Sumeru would receive their own Genius Invokation TCG cards. Ahead of next week’s new update, HoYoverse has revealed official details about these new character cards and their abilities.

HoYoverse confirmed that Kamisato Ayato, Arataki Itto, and Tighnari Genius Invokation TCG cards will be introduced in Genshin Impact version 3.6, along with some new action cards. Ayato, Itto, and Tighnari character cards use the normal attacks, elemental skills, and elemental burst talents that their playable opponents typically use in battle. However, these talents have been reorganized to comply with the rules of the Genius Invokation TCG. For example, the Ayato character card’s Kamisato Art: Marobashi normal attack deals damage twice after using one Hydro Elemental dice and two misaligned dice in one turn. New Kyouka Fuushi, Arataki Ichiban, and Keen Sight Talent cards will be added in the 3.6 update, boosting the power of Ayato, Itto, and Tighnari cards respectively.

In addition to the new character and talent cards, the Genius Invokation TCG in version 3.6 of Genshin Impact will also offer two new equipment cards. The new Grand Narukami Shrine support card can be activated after using two matching elemental dice, allowing players to generate a random elemental dice each round. Additionally, the Favonius Sword equip card will be available, allowing sword-based character cards to deal extra damage and earn extra power points. The Favonius Sword card requires three matching elemental dice to be used in a Genius Invokation TCG duel.

Since the release of Genius Invokation TCG version 3.3, HoYoverse has kept its promise, delivering new content and tweaks to the mini-game with each update. With these exciting additions to the Genius Invokation TCG arriving within a week, players can look forward to even more cards in Genshin Impact 3.7 and 3.8.

Genshin Impact’s 3.6 update will introduce playable characters Baizhu and Kaveh, a new Sumeru map expansion, and several new events. Players will also be able to earn new Genius Invokation TCG cards by participating in new duels and events during version 3.6.

Genshin Impact is available now for Android, iOS, PC, PS4 and PS5. A Nintendo Switch version is in development.
