The Genshin Impact chart ranks the game’s playable characters by how many consecutive updates they miss. Each update in the game includes two banner cycles, each with a double banner. These banners have two limited five-star and three four-star characters.
The ongoing banner cycle of Genshin Impact update 3.5 offers two five-star Cryo users Shenhe and Ayaka, as well as a brand new four-star character named Mika. Developer HoYoverse has confirmed that the first part of the upcoming 3.6 update will feature two Sumeru characters, Nahida and Nilou, with a second banner cycle reserved for Ganyu and new Dendro user Baizhu.
Reddit user RapidFresh shared an interesting chart revealing which characters miss the most consecutive updates. Cryo user Eula topped the list of 12 missed updates, the last of which was in update 2.3. She’s one of the best DPS characters in Genshin Impact, with a specific playstyle built around building physical damage. This means players should have at least one Electro character on their team with Eula triggering superconductivity. This elemental reaction reduces the physical resistance of all affected enemies by 40% for 12 seconds.
[3.6] u/RapidFresh’s 5-star waitlist in Genshin_Impact Second place on the list is shared by two characters, Kaedehara Kazuha and Klee. Both characters appeared in version 2.8, the last update before Sumeru’s arrival, which meant many players skipped their banners, saving new Dendro users some Primogems. Currently, Kazuha is widely regarded as the best neutral support in the game due to his Anemo element’s inability to interfere with other elemental reactions.
Versatility is one of Kazuha’s greatest assets, as his gear increases his team’s damage potential while crushing enemy resistance. Keri is one of the first characters to appear on the limited character banner in 2020. Although she was considered an S-tier DPS at the time, Keri has been left out of the meta since then.
Geo Archon Zhongli and Sangonomiya Kokomi came out in update 3.0, which means they’ve missed six updates so far. Kokomi has proven to be one of the best Hydro applicators in Genshin Impact, and she is a vital part of the popular Bloom team-up.
Genshin Impact is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4 and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
