The June 2023 PlayStation Plus free subscription game file sizes have been announced. All three tiers of PS Plus members get free games every month, which users can play as long as they subscribe to the service.
Sony recently revealed its monthly free PS Plus games for June 2023, confirming that NBA 2K23, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Trek to Yomi will be available to subscribers soon. Gamers will be able to play the games starting June 6, and members will have until July 3 to add them to their accounts. Now, the storage requirements for the monthly free PS Plus games have been revealed, confirming how much space players will need to free up in order to download them.
NBA 2K23 is taking up a lot of space, as Twitter account PlayStation Game Size revealed that PS Plus subscribers will need 153.598 GB on PS5 to download it. Its PS4 counterpart is a bit smaller, requiring 127.327 GB of storage. Trek to Yomi is tiny in comparison, as the PS5 and PS4 versions require 8.212 GB and 12.930 GB of space, respectively. Finally, PlayStation Game Size confirms that Jurassic World Evolution 2 will require 10.574 GB of space on PS5, and its PS4 version requires between 9 and 18 GB of storage.
Overall, gamers won’t have to clear a lot of space to play Jurassic World Evolution 2 and Star Trek, but NBA 2K23 will take up a lot of storage space for players interested in giving it a try. Gamers should note that these requirements sometimes vary by region, so the total amount of space for all users may not be the same.
PlayStation Plus subscribers can still add the free monthly game for May 2023 to their accounts, as fans can download and play Grid Legends, Chivalry 2, and Descenders for free. These games will no longer be available to members starting June 6, so users will have to add them to their game library before then.
PS Plus Extra and Premium members will get even more games in June 2023, as Sony refreshes the catalog around the middle of each month. Sony has yet to reveal the list of games coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium in June 2023, but May has added Ratchet Clank: Rift Apart, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Humanity, Watch Dogs: Legion and more.
