Players who subscribe to Fortnite Crew will receive Rocket League prizes this month. Fortnite has been around for years, and its popularity has grown considerably since it was first released. As fame rose, more doors opened, and it had unique opportunities for unexpected collaborations.
In terms of collaborations, Fortnite certainly broke barriers. At first, players couldn’t play cross-platform or log into their accounts from other console systems due to console wars issues, but that’s all changed now. The company has come together so players can use their Master Chief skin to team up with Kratos and win Duos. It definitely had an impact on the gaming industry, and other games continue to want to be a part of it. And now, another milestone is about to be reached as the Fortnite Crew pack extends its benefits to more games.
Fortnite is teaming up with Rocket League again, but now on a larger scale. Just like Fortnite, Rocket League has its own battle pass system called Rocket Pass. Players with an active Fortnite Crew membership will receive the Rocket Pass for free. The benefit will roll out on April 25th at 7PM ET, so players who own the April Fortnite Crew pack will be able to get it.
As of now, little information has been disclosed about this stipend. It’s unclear if this will be a recurring perk included with Fortnite Crew subscriptions, or how long it will last. The current Rocket Pass season runs until early June, so even though this perk is exclusive to this season, it could be part of the Fortnite Crew pack.
This isn’t the first time two games have come together, but this crossover event is certainly different from those that have occurred in the past. A while back, Fortnite players had the opportunity to complete in-game quests and earn exclusive Rocket League cosmetics, and vice versa. Just a few months ago, Fortnite added the Rocket League Octane vehicle for a limited time, allowing players to try out vehicular tricks on the battlefield.
Fortnite is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
