A gamer created an impressive fan art that combines Honkai : Interstellar Railway and Persona 5. HoYoverse’s latest gashapon game has captured the hearts of many players, especially those who have followed other titles Genshin Impact and Honkai 3rd. Due to its growing popularity, creative enthusiasts have released artwork based on star trails.
Honkai: What sets Star Rail apart from other games in the HoYoverse is its turn-based combat system, which many fans seem to like because it allows them to get creative with character combinations and builds. The mechanics, as well as the anime-inspired characters, have also been compared to other turn-based RPGs such as Persona 5.
In one of the many fan art projects based on Honkai: Star Rail, Twitter user Ll0ejNzw0ll created one that combines a HoYoverse title with Persona 5. The post shows March 7, Stelle and Dan Heng’s eyes drawn in a cut-in style from Persona 5, as if they were about to hit Shadow’s weak spot. In a reply, the player stated that they also plan to draw the ultimate ability cutscene for the Star Trail character in the style of the Persona 5 All-Out Attack scene.
In the replies, many Honkai : Star Trail players were full of praise for the fan art, and even requested that other characters such as Herta be drawn in the style of Persona 5. One user stated that they would like to see a collaboration between Star Trail and Persona 5 in the future. A collaboration with HoYoverse could become possible as Atlus has already released its own mobile game spin-off, Persona 5: The Phantom X, soon after, and one of the Phantom Thieves will be a playable character in Honkai: Star Rail. In the past, HoYoverse added Aloy from the Horizon series in Genshin Impact, so a crossover isn’t out of the question.
Honkai: Star Rail just launched, but it’s already breaking records as it reached over 10 million pre-registrations and reportedly surpassed Genshin Impact’s open day downloads. The game has only been out for a week, but it’s already being billed as HoYoverse’s biggest launch yet. The developers are just getting started with Star Rail as it continues to expand the game’s story and character library.
As with many popular games, there have been leaks about new upcoming characters for Honkai: Star Rail. These haven’t been confirmed by HoYoverse yet, so many players have been taking the leaks with a grain of salt, but these seem to be enough to get them hyped about the upcoming Star Rail content.
Honkai Star Rail is available on Android, iOS and PC. PS4 and PS5 versions are in development.
