Disney Speedstorm offers players three different premium versions, all of which offer additional benefits. Although it will launch as a free-to-play game around early 2024, players will have exclusive access to Disney Speedstorm by paying for the Founder’s Pack. These packs cost money, but offer in-game perks and early access before the game becomes free.
Currently, there are 3 Founders Packs: Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate. The Standard pack has the least content but costs $30, the Deluxe pack has more and costs $50, and finally, the Ultimate pack has the most but costs a whopping $70. Almost everything in these packs is eventually available naturally in-game.
Standard Founder’s Pack
The rewards for purchasing a standard gift package of 30 yuan are as follows :
Get early access to Disney Speedstorm ahead of its free-to-play release in late 2023 or early 2024. Racers unlocked : Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, two characters that are essential to progress in the single player mode. Unlocks a single additional racer chosen by the player from the list of Baloo, Belle, Beast, Elizabeth Swann, Shang or Mowgli. 4,000 tokens to spend on in-game items in the shop. 2 Golden Pass credits, which can be used to unlock the game’s battle pass, the Golden Pass, for free, or to skip tiers in the pass. The founding member-exclusive race suits for Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and selected racers are purely cosmetic, but will not be available without purchasing one of these suits. Exclusive Founding Member Kart Liveries for Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and selected racers are free decals and customizations for the karts, also exclusive to those who purchase the Founders Pack. The Exclusive Founder’s Motto and Avatar are exclusive to those who have purchased the Founder’s Pack, and are the tagline and image displayed at the end of the game. Overall, the most valuable thing is the ability to choose from a handful of additional racers, since characters can be hard to find in Disney Speedstorm. Exclusive items are purely vanity, and the rest are things that can eventually be earned as you play the game, no real money required.
Deluxe Founder’s Pack
In addition to providing buyers with all the incentives of the Standard Founder’s Pack, the $50 Deluxe Founder’s Pack includes :
Racer unlocked : Mulan, in addition to Mickey, Donald Duck, and Racer’s choice. 3,000 additional tokens, for a total of 7,000. Mulan’s exclusive founding member racing uniforms, as well as choices for Mickey, Donald Duck and racers. Mulan’s exclusive founding member kart liveries and decals for Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and selected racers. Overall, while that’s a bit more than the standard edition, for $20 more, this pack offers very little extra content. For Mulan fans who don’t mind spending a little more, it’s only worth checking out, as the token increase is the only notable addition besides hers, and it’s not a huge addition in the game.
Ultimate Founder’s Pack
In addition to all the rewards of the first two bundles, the $70 Ultimate Founder’s bundle has a lot of extra goodies to entice players into this edition, such as :
Racer unlocks : Captain Jack and Hercules, as well as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Mulan. 5,000 additional tokens for a total of 12,000 1 additional Golden Pass point for a total of 3 exclusive founding member racing suits for Captain Jack Sparrow and Hercules, plus Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Mulan and selected Racers Exclusive Founding Members Kart Liveries Captain Jack and Hercules along with Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Mulan and Racer Kart Wheels and Wings of choice for Donald Duck Karts Only valid with purchase of the Ultimate Founders Pack but purely for vanity people. In general, it is much more cost-effective than the luxury bag, but whether it is worth spending the price of The Legend of Zelda : Kingdom Tears depends on the individual. However, this pack does have its perks, namely exclusive vanity and extra Gold Pass points, and any Disney Speedstorm player looking to play the game for a long time should consider this pack.
Disney Speedstorm is now in Early Access on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
