It seems that the fifth major update of Disney Dream Valley will really come out in June. Disney’s Valley of Dreams has been in Early Access since its launch in September 2022. In the months that players have been testing the game, it has received several massive content updates. These updates add to the main storyline, implement new quality-of-life features, and fix various bugs experienced by Disney Dreamers players.
The most recent major content patch, the Pride of the Valley update, went live in early April. It adds a whole new realm so players can visit their favorite Lion King characters, the Disneyland Walk of Fame, a new holiday event, and tons of new items and improvements. However, as gamers began to explore all that Update 4 added to their games, they naturally began to wonder when they would receive a new batch of Update 5’s free goodies and features.
The Disney Dream Valley 2023 Roadmap report says the last update for the first half of 2023 will be released in early summer. In a recent tweet announcing completion of the final Dreamlight Park community challenge, the official Disney Dreamlight Valley account mentioned that players will receive another reward when the next update is released in June. While there’s no specific release date, at least fans know what month Update 5 will land in Disney’s Lights Valley.
Many players think that Cinderella or Vanellope could be the next characters to join the valley. The roadmap description says a princess is flying into the game and has a picture of a big pumpkin house. Until an announcement is made, it’s impossible to say for sure what the next update will bring to Disney’s Valley of Lights, but more will surely be revealed as the next few weeks go on.
Currently, the only real confirmation of Update 5 is the addition of umbrellas to Disney Dreaming. Soon, gamers will no longer have to worry about their characters standing out in the rain when the weather is bad; they’ll be able to protect themselves with a variety of umbrellas. In addition, the current Disneyland star trail is coming to an end, and it is likely that this update will add a new star trail for players to complete.
Disney Dreamlight Valley is now available in Early Access on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
