At launch, Diablo 4 revealed the system requirements to run the game on PC. Anticipation has been high for Diablo 4 since its announcement, and anticipation has only grown as the game’s release nears. The community never stops discussing new information, leaks, and ideas for having fun with new entries in the Blizzard franchise. Another topic that generated a lot of discussion was the player experience during the Diablo 4 beta.
Diablo 4’s journey has been long since the game’s announcement at BlizzCon 2019, losing key figures in its development. Between being delayed and rumors of possible further delays, Diablo 4 has arrived, and after beta testing, players are very anxious about the release. For those of you who missed the initial Diablo 4 beta, fear not. A third Diablo 4 beta event will take place in May to test the servers ahead of launch and reward players for participating.
Now, Diablo 4 has even more exciting news for players, confirming the minimum and recommended requirements to run the game on PC at launch. In a new entry on Blizzard’s official blog, the developers say they’ve taken feedback from players during the Diablo 4 beta and put together a new recommendation request. Previously, Blizzard also revealed many changes in Diablo 4 based on beta feedback, bringing some adjustments to the upcoming ARPG, such as class balance and boss adjustments.
So the new requirements bring some settings that players need to meet to run Diablo 4 on PC, such as 1080p and 4K resolutions, and 60fps on all but the lowest settings. An official Blizzard blog post further pointed out what was also said during the Diablo 4 beta. According to the text, Diablo 4 will attempt to run on PCs with less than the minimum settings. The developer stresses that, though, the gaming experience could be significantly reduced.
Even though it’s been so long since Diablo 4 was announced, fan hype hasn’t waned. It grows every day if possible. A lot of similar crossover events were confirmed for Diablo 4 even before the game’s release. With its already huge popularity, Diablo 4 players can easily imagine that this game will become one of the most talked about topics this year.
