A Call of Duty : Warzone 2 player spotted a ton of AFK players being thrown at the end of the plane’s path and started killing them all. Season 3 of Call of Duty : Warzone 2 launched last week with a slew of new content, including gunfights and a new battle pass.
In Warzone 2 Battle Royale, 150 players drop from planes into the giant Al Mazrah map and fight until only one squad remains. At the start of the race, the plane starts at one end of the map and cruises to the other, giving players ample opportunity to mark where they want to land on the island before jumping out. AFK players are taken to the end of the plane’s path before being thrown into the sea not far from shore.
One player went to the end of the line and encountered some pretty interesting things to say the least. Reddit user Ok-Afternoon5828 posted a video of them falling out of a plane at the end of the sky above Al Mazrah, watching about 10-12 AFK players parachute at close range before plopping into the ocean.
Ok-Afternoon jumped at this precious opportunity to get some free XP and started sending them all into the water with a barrage of melee hits and starter pistol shots. It seems like one of the AFK players even “woke up” and started swimming around as the group was being killed from the depths, but it was too late as they were taken before they even knew what was going on . What’s even more interesting is that it all took place in a foursome match, and Ok-Afternoon ditched their other three teammates for this AFK rampage mission.
With such a large number of players, there are bound to be at least a handful of AFK players in every Warzone match. Some of these players may just be trying to level up their Warzone Battle Pass by merely being present in Warzone matches, or their controller batteries are dead. Anyway, it was fun to see them all scurrying off to sea. It’s fun to imagine the absurd fun of taking a plane to the end of a flight line and seeing what’s going on there or maybe just to get some AFK kills for free XP.
