The new Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 has just unveiled its Battle Pass Season 3 content, showing off some of the changes in the game, as well as the many rewards available to players. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 players will be able to try out new weapons, earn new Operator skins, and more by participating in the upcoming Battle Pass.
Launched last year by Infinity Ward, Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 has the daunting task of keeping players interested in it for a long time. Initially, it was rumored that there would be no Call of Duty game in 2023, only an expansion pack. That puts a lot of pressure on the new title. However, current rumors point to a full standalone CoD in 2023. Whatever the new release, Modern Warfare 2 has faced a lot of criticism for not offering enough content to keep gamers interested in it. Now, a new Battle Pass is coming to fill that need.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has officially revealed information about its Battle Pass and other changes that will be coming in Season 3. According to the game’s official blog, players’ Season 3 Battle Pass will offer hundreds of rewards. Players will have the opportunity to pay 1,100 COD points for the regular Battle Pass or purchase the Deluxe BlackCell option, which includes level 20 skips, exclusive content, vehicle skins, BlackCell Operators and exclusive BlackCell Zones, among other special rewards. Players who purchase the standard Battle Pass will also receive two new characters, Valeria and Alejandro, who served together in the Mexican Special Forces.
This update will also bring two new weapons, the FJX Imperium Sniper Rifle and the Cronen Squall Battle Rifle, as well as new Operator skins and unique rewards for players who complete all areas. Another big new addition to this new season is the auto-path feature, which helps simplify the battle pass. Players can use this to automate the most efficient paths in the Battle Pass, rather than actually spending time.
Overall, Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 seems like a step in the right direction. With two new Operators, interesting new guns, and a ton of content, players are sure to have their hands full as they wait for more seasons of the game or a new Call of Duty title.
Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 is out now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
