There is a wide variety of furniture to choose from in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, with one player tasked with matching the correct items to create an incredible Breath of the Wild island. When The Legend of Zelda : Breath of the Wild released as the Nintendo Switch launch title, it inspired many new fan projects that live on today in the form of this Animal Crossing : New Horizons island.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the most successful Animal Crossing game, where Nintendo fans showcase their creativity by mixing and matching multiple furniture options. Its popular launch didn’t bring everything players would see today, as many items, NPCs, and events were added through the Animal Crossing: New Horizons update.
Reddit user CelestialWoodstock received 1,600 upvotes for several images showing their Breath of the Wild-themed Animal Crossing: New Horizons island. A screenshot from Animal Crossing: New Horizons shared with the island map shows a hero dressed in green standing in front of what appears to be a reference to The Legend of Zelda: Sword Master. According to CelestialWoodstock’s map, which they call “Breath of Woodstock,” the island includes many Breath of the Wild locations, such as the Akkala Tech Lab, Bokoblin Camp, Death Mountain, and Zora’s Domain.
Some of the most impressive sets created by CelestialWoodstock in Animal Crossing: New Horizons include Lake Floria, the Lost Forest full of mushroom items that can be found in the fall, and the massive Castle of Breath of the Wild in Hyrule. CelestialWoodstock’s Breath of the Wild theme goes beyond the furniture and items used to represent The Legend of Zelda games, as the villagers also represent the different characters and wildlife in the title. Rasher is Bokoblin, Cephalobot is Guardian, Reneigh is Horse, Quinn is Rito, Lionel is Lynel, Drago is Farosh, Ruby is Blupee, Maple is Bear, Fauna is Darling and Del is Lizalfos.
Due to the level of attention paid to detail by CelestialWoodstock in their Animal Crossing: New Horizons Breath of the Wild creation, players have admitted to using multiple codes for certain patterns, such as those found inside Gerudo and the castle. Players can also effectively use Animal Crossing: New Horizons trees and plant items purchasable through Nook’s Cranny to reflect the expansive landscapes in Breath of the Wild.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is now available for Nintendo Switch.
