Amouranth Food Delivery Stolen By Uber Eats Driver

Earlier this week, Twitch partner Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa reported on social media that her recent Uber Eats order had been stolen and caught the thief on camera. Even though Amouranth is one of the most popular content creators on Twitch, that hasn’t stopped her from being a victim of order theft, as evidenced by the videos she’s posted on social media of the practice.

Last month, the stalker from Amouranth, Estonia, was arrested by police days after he tried to break into her property and was turned away by house staff. Although Amouranth was not home when the stalker tried to enter her home, he was not arrested until he was spotted again. As of this writing, Amouranth has made no further public announcements about the stalker. The stolen UberEats order, though trivial by comparison, is just the latest in a series of events that will happen to Amouranth in 2023.

On Twitter, Amouranth posted a 31-second video from her front door security camera documenting the crime. The UberEats driver delivering food for Amouranth walked to the door and saw the notification that he was being recorded. However, the driver chose to film what they were about to do, took Amouranth’s orders and drove away from the house in a taunting manner. While other Twitch streamers have had deals with Uber Eats in a more professional capacity, Amouranth’s stolen order was anything but. After the video was posted, Uber’s support feed apologized to Amouranth and wanted the issue rectified.

Needless to say, this led others on social media to claim that Amouranth’s popularity led to special treatment, as she is one of the most powerful and criticized personalities on Twitch. In response, a Twitter user said they had similar incidents in the past, but Uber Eats refused to refund them. Other users in the reply called on Uber Eats to fire the driver, hoping that police would arrest them for the behaviour.

As of this writing, the Uber Eats driver involved has not been identified and has not been arrested for theft. While Amouranth has had a busy year, from her upcoming boxing debut to her duties as a Twitch host, only time will tell if the Uber Eats saga will be resolved soon.
