AC Valhalla: Brewing Rebellion Walkthrough

After the conclusion of the Rendon or East Anglia arcs in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, players will have the opportunity to seek an alliance in Oxenefordscire. Once players have spoken to Landvey on the Alliance map at Raventhorpe Longhouse and made a pledge for this part of England, they will begin the Brewing Rebellion mission.

The quest introduces some of the main players in this part of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and involves a large-scale battle in the longhouse. For those looking to challenge and complete Brewing Rebellion, this guide can help.

Where to start brewing a rebellion?

Brewing Rebellion began in the small village of Buckingham in Oxenefordscire. This location provides a quick travel port for those who have visited before, but for all others it is southwest of Ravensthorpe and along the Great Ouse. Once in the area, the player must locate Sigurd and Basim in this town.

Talking to the woman near the front door will bring up options to bribe, threaten, or use a charm to learn about Sigurd’s whereabouts. Regardless of the path, the player will be led to a lonely fishing house by the river. Entering this structure will start a cutscene.

How to advance the brewing rebellion?

After talking to Basim and Sigurd, the player needs to stay away from the river and head to the town’s longhouse. Players need to forcibly open the eastern entrance to activate the next phase of the mission. Regardless of the dialogue choices in the following scenarios, the player will be locked into a battle with a handful of enemies in the longhouse. Basim and Sigurd will assist, but there are some more difficult enemies here too. Another cutscene will play after the battle.

The location is filled with enemies who patrol nearly the entire area, but approaching from the south activates a cutscene. The key here is to free the captured thegns (three of which are on center stage near the entrance, and one in a cage further north) without any casualties.
