Code a little code for me
I began this "blog-style" blog with the assumption that I'd most likely wind up writing the software that delivers it, probably using AWS. But after I spent something like three or four days wrestling with the idea, I realized that I don't know enough about what existing packages are doing for their users, so I decided to start out by using one of them, in this case PyBlosxom, a Python clone of the Perl packgage Blosxom. It seems reasonably simple, while providing most of the classic "blog" features, so here goes.
I'm already starting to get some ideas of what my own code will do, and I definitely need to spend some time with the page appearance—no offense to Mr. Boyd's "Mainly Green" style, but everybody has their own ideas of how they want their stuff to look, and while this doesn't offend me, I've got some ideas about what I'd like to do with my own styles.
I also need to write some support scripts to make publishing easier, but the two-step turkey trot method I'm currently using will suffice for now.
